A subsidiary of Kiwa, the head office of Kiwa ISA Sport is at the heart of Dutch sporting excellence: the Papendal Dutch National Sports Centre.

Established in 1993, LABOSPORT is the world leader of independent testing laboratories specifically dedicated to sports surfaces and sports equipment.
Since 2008, LABOSPORT is part of the HBG group. In 2010, LABOSPORT decided to integrate the chemical laboratory SYPAC. By doing so, LABOSPORT is able to keep all its chemical analysis (which is more and more at the heart of its know-how) in house. The Centre for Sports Technology Ltd (CST) is the leading independent UK laboratory devoted solely to the testing of synthetic sports surfaces and sports equipment. With a total of seven experienced senior scientific staff, it has available more than 100 man-years' experience of testing synthetic sports surfaces, both in the laboratory and on site.
Its work extends over athletics tracks, synthetic turf pitches (hockey, football and multi-sports), tennis courts, bowls greens, netball and basketball courts, multi-sports areas, sports hall floorings, children’s playground surfacing and synthetic ski slopes. Since it was established in 1986, staff of CST have inspected and tested more than 450 synthetic turf pitches and over 150 athletics tracks, both in the UK and overseas, including the facilities for the Seoul, Barcelona, Atlanta and Sydney Olympic Tournaments, and the Vancouver, Kuala Lumpur and Manchester Commonwealth Games.

El Instituto de Biomecánica de Valencia (IBV) es un centro tecnológico que estudia el comportamiento del cuerpo humano y su relación con los productos, entornos y servicios que utilizan las personas. Fundado en 1976, el instituto es un centro concertado entre el Instituto Valenciano de Competitividad Empresarial (IVACE) y la Universitat Politècnica de València (UPV).
El IBV combina conocimientos provenientes de la biomecánica y la ergonomía o la ingeniería emocional y los aplica a muy diversos ámbitos con el objetivo de mejorar la competitividad del tejido empresarial a través del bienestar de las personas.

Materials Testing Institute University of Stuttgart
With effect from 1st July 2003 the “State Materials Testing Institute (MPA) University of Stuttgart” and the “Research and Materials Institute for Civil Engineering, Otto-Graf-Institute (FMPA)” were reunited to form the "Materials Testing Institute University of Stuttgart (MPA Stuttgart, Otto-Graf-Institut (FMPA))" with the directors Hans-Wolf Reinhardt (until 2006), and Eberhard Roos (until 2011). The purpose of merging both institutes was to bundle the resources of both institutes by using the synergies and so increase efficiency and effectiveness in the field of materials testing and research. Furthermore, the new institute is to provide the constructive civil engineering institutes with improved experimental work. After Christoph Gehlen (2006 to 2008), the "Materials Testing Institute University of Stuttgart" has been headed by Prof. Stefan Weihe (from 2014) and by Prof. Harald Garrecht as Managing Director (from 2012)

Institut für Sportbodentechnik Leipzig is a member of the International Association for the Sports Surface Sciences (ISSS) and DIN-Normenausschuss Bauwesen NABau "Sportböden" (DIN standards committee for sports floors). We are accredited by RAL-Gütegemeinschaft Sporthallenböden e.V. as test institute for indoor sports floors, by RAL-Gütegemeinschaft Kunststoffbeläge in Sportfreianlagen e.V. for testing artificial turf surfaces and synthetic surfaces (compliance tests) and by DIN CERTCO Gesellschaft für Konformitätsbewertung mbH for testing indoor sports flooring, artificial turf surfaces, synthetic surfaces and impact-walls.

ISP - Institut für Sportstättenprüfung
The ‘Institut für Sportstättenprüfung’ (ISP) was founded by Dr. Uwe Schattke in 1999. At the beginning, ISP was primarily concerned with the inspection and testing of completed sports hall floors. Today, ISP disposes of a well-equipped laboratory, where material testing of synthetic sports surfaces, artificial turf systems, impact absorbing wall coverings and sports hall floor systems is performed.
The scope of services of ISP also includes the qualification tests of all kind of synthetic sports floor systems for the indoor and outdoor application; furthermore, the inspections of installation works being directly performed on site, the testing of old sports hall floors, the quality monitoring as well as the surveying and evaluation of any prevailing claims and disputes. ISP is an accredited laboratory according to DIN EN ISO 17025 as well as a member of the ISSS (International Association for Sports Surface Sciences), IAKS as well as BSFH (Federal Association for the manufacturers of playground and leisure facilities). The Institute is also recognized by the two national quality monitoring organizations RAL and DIN Certco.

USSL - United States Sports Surfacing Laboratory
The United States Sports Surfacing Laboratory (USSL) provides professional testing services to both the U.S. and international marketplaces.
It was founded by Hans J. Kolitzus in 1989, to serve the growing demand for sport surface testing in the Americas.
Along with it's sister labs, the IST Switzerland and the IST Leipzig, the USSL provides an expansive list of testing, developmental, failure analysis and expert services.
By design, we are not a mega-store, but a small Corporation dedicated to the needs of our clients and can work with you on a one-on-one basis.
